I know...it's only the end of October (230 days, but who is counting?!?) But I want to get out some hotel information for out of town guests.
We have a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Deer Park. It's a GREAT location (right by the outdoor mall, lots of food and shopping!) It's super affordable ($79/night) and they serve breakfast in the mornings (which I can't pass up!)

That is the website for the hotel, just ask for "Fenwick/Dwyer" block. If you only want to stay there the night of the wedding (there is a shuttle) that is fine. If you want a hotel room for the rest of the time somewhere else (Crystal Lake, Mundelein) Let me know I will get you that information!

The Proposal

- On 12/12/09 we were in Crystal Lake on Main Beach. The plan was to hang out then go Christmas shopping. (Meagan always needs a plan!) Blake came up with a good idea of setting the camera on a timer to get a cute picture of us: on the lake, sun setting, etc. After a few trials, he pressed the picture button, ran over...and proposed. Hence-the picture. It was perfect and even more perfect that we have a picture to never forget it!
