83 Days.....
So the 3rd dress fitting has come and gone. It's fitting every day a little better-not sure if it's my talented seamstress or my 5K training. I will give both credit :) Next visit: April 16th. That should be it before the final!!!!
The tasting was fun-lots of good food. For everyone that knows Blake and I will expect dinner to be...chicken! We love chicken and neither of us eats Steak...so it was an easy choice. We will be pondering it a week and having a final decision SOON!
Invites = DONE. I just finished up the finishing touches and now contemplating a nap. The details jobs are tiresome!
Wedding stuff will be put on hold for the weekend: lesson planning and grading will take over. Hoping to get a fast 2.5 mile run in a couple of more times before the week sneaks up on us. The "ex-tree" room is painted! The bed is back in, now for a little more furniture moving and it will be where we hoped it would be! My mom will be glad to get her stool back :)
Still working on a song list and life insurance. Two weeks from today is Shower #1 and I bought a cute dress yesterday!
Here's to a great weekend!

Checking off the list!
86 Days and Counting....
A mid-week update!
We bought stamps and that was a little hectic-We needed 28 cent stamps for the RSVP cards and they only print polar bears! Oh well :)
Tuxedos are ready to go! We went with Jos A Bank- Men's Wearhouse was a nightmare and I would never recommend going there!
Invites are being done today! We are so excited :)

Day 1 of Spring Break
Day 1 of spring break....90 days until the wedding...starting to feel the crunch time coming!
Nothing incredibly new this past week. This week we have a lot to look ahead to!
Today, we bought new bedroom furniture. I love it! Here is a link to check it out!
http://bigfurniturewebsite.com/item.aspx?itemid=-467968677&itemnum=B130Q
Blake also primed the "tree room" and it is already 100x brighter. I will post a picture soon. The next step it painting! After the room is put back together, and the bedroom furniture is delievered, we will have accomplished everything we wanted to in the first year of being home owners! It will be ready for us to start our life together!
Monday: I'm going to buy stamps for the invites to get those ready to be sent out!
Tuesday: We have an appointment at Men's Wearhouse to get the ball rolling with men's wear.
Wednesday: I'm hoping to have all the invitiations together to send to all our guests!
Friday: I have my THIRD dress fitting-I know many of you are wondering why so many fittings. Well, it is VERY detailed and we have done it step by step. Right now it is being dropped a 1/2 inch more, and she is hemming the satin. On Friday, we will see how that fits, then hem the lace and fix the sleeves if needed!
Saturday: We are tasting the food options at The Concorde and picking our meal. We are looking forward to this!
In the meantime, I'm still hunting accessories for the bridesmaids and myself. We've been working on life insurance which is crazy! And we are starting to put a song list together-any suggestions?
Tomorrow is a HIGE rivarly game for Blake and I- U of A and UT. Hook 'Em Horns :)

Trying to stay updated!
96 days YAY!
2nd dress fitting = success! The dress is fitting better already (no more itchy armpits!) I go back again in two weeks. Then the satin will have been hemmed. The next step will be hemming the lace! I can't wait for the satin to be hemmed because it is a super heavy dress and that will lighten it up!
We are working on painting our guest bedroom known as the "tree room" because of the big tree mural around the entire room. It's a very dark color so we are lightening it up with a more neutral "sandy" color. It is blue taped and ready to go. It will be Blake's project for the week!
One more week until spring break for me. Then I will be busting out all the invites for the wedding to be ready to be mailed! Hopefully by then the "tree room" will be ready to be put together and I can spend some time in the townhouse getting it geared up for life together!
Hope you had a great weekend and weren't struggling with the 1 less hour like me!
Make sure to read the next post down about the hotel!!

An eventful weekend!
104 days to go.....It will be weird when it hits the double digits!
Unexpectantly, I bought a vail! I LOVE it :) It wasn't part of the agenda, but I'm working on not being so structured ha!
I also survived my first dress fitting! What was too tight last time was too big this time-apparently my gym membership is working! I have to go back next week because it has to be dropped (it was scratching my armpits-ouch!) So once it is dropped, the length will change, so they will hem it then.
We picked up our invitations and I really love them! I want to send them out already! However, we are working on sending out our first shower invitations. They are beautiful and I have my favorite person in the world to thank-Juli.
On that note, I should tell you about how special Juli is to me. Juli was my sister's kindergarten teacher. My first memory of her is when my sister missed the apple picking field trip and the nice person that she is, put apples in my locker to bring home to her. When I opened my locker (3rd grade) I found tons of apples!
Then in high school, I took a community service class. I was then paired up with Juli and her classroom! Needless to say, we have been friends since. She has been a mentor, friend, and inspiration in more then one way. The fact that she took on my shower makes me feel that I only owe her more. She has continuously give me more then I can ask for and I cannot thank her enough for all of it! I love ya Juli and I am so thankful for you and your family.
Now for the next steps:
3/26 we are tasting food for the reception-yay Chicken :)
We are working on Blake's wear for the wedding and decor! Anxious to see it all together!
Thanks for everyone's support through all the chaos-we love you ALL!
